Sylvester might tighten-up and look sharper in our smaller avatar boxes. Geenie would prolly get squashed & look like a lardass in our squares. (might be kinda funny, an overweight geenie....)
The Sandman series is good. Its my idea of the best comic I've ever read (best mini-series goes to DC's Crisis on Infinite Earths).
I'd recommend it, but it's so expensive. Well, for me, I remember buying them for .35.
Its the only work I've read from Gaiman, but I"ve read some about him, and reviews of other works. After hearing how he doesn't like cookies, I may never read them.
Oh, he probably likes them, but he had to go to another signing.
Damnit, and he didn't even write about me in his weblog, how could he!

yeah... the sandman series is prolly the best
damned comic series i've ever read... and well
worth the reading.
i think that out of everyone here: me, reved,
and now you, love o' fate.... has been familiar
with gaiman's sandman to some extent.
having a 'gaiman sandman cover' would be cool as
an avatar... but i think that all the detail
would be shot being so small.
incidentally... the whole sandman collection
(if sold in whole) runs about $200 for the
75 book run plus the extras....(not including
the companion or TPBs)

Oh goody! I've been getting tired of blowing away the same waving kitty cat in every post. Was hoping you wouldn't pick Sylvester running into a wall, as I MIGHT like to test-out that gif for a bit myself. Was getting frightened you might actually pick Sylvester! PHEW! [img]wink.gif[/img]
edit: That gif is just about the same size as our avatars, square. Lil bit larger, so it might pixellate slightly more.
